About

The Malayalam Academy was originally founded in 2015 as the “NSS Malayalam Academy”. It went through a series of re-branding but the original motive remained unchanged.

It is now known as Nanma Malayalam!

We are a 100% volunteer driven organization. Although it was started as an NSSCA initiative, the larger Bay Area Malayali Community volunteers make it a successful venture. Our teachers are passionate about Malayalam and believe in its purity. At NANMA Malayalam, the students also get introduced to the cultural backgrounds of Kerala along with the language.

We work for a common cause - “Introduce the warmth and care of our sweet mother-tongue to the new generation”.
